Peter Dodson was raised in North Vancouver, British Columbia and moved to Saskatoon to pursue his Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies. After graduation, he worked as a research consultant for the Office of the Treaty Commissioner and continues to give public presentations on treaty issues.
In 2003, he researched and wrote Little Pine and Lucky Man: A History, 1866-1885 to mark the 125th anniversary of these two First Nations' adhesion to treaty. He has also taught introductory Native Studies and research methods classes at both the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST).

Neil Soiseth grew up in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honours in History. He further received a Master’s degree in American History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
For the past six years, he has served as copy editor for the Native Studies Review and, more recently, the Community-University Institute for Social Research. He has also edited numerous conference proceedings, theses and dissertations, and successful grant applications.
